Last night, the ‘Delegation of Amicable Parliaments Italy – USA’ lead by the Honorable Nissoli met in the Italian Consulate in Philadelphia, with the presence of Consulate General Andrea Canepari and the Italian community living in the Philadelphia area in the United States of America.

After thanking her colleagues for the “sensibility that they showed towards Italians that are living outside of national territory,” she underlined the importance of understanding the person and the reality of the Italian Community living abroad, and made evident, “The Italian industry overseas helped play a large role in constructing the new world,”, then noting the importance of working on a political plain, in the context of functioning in our country’s system, “The Italian Community abroad should get the proper attention they deserve, if for no other reason, to give honor to the great name of Italy.”
